Alumni Quad Courtyard Special Permit

This area is located within the courtyard of Alumni Quad. The parking spaces are Special Permit twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. Only those with a valid and properly displayed Special Permit, Special Medical Permit, or Handicapped decal or hang tag (note: valid University at Albany handicapped permits are REQUIRED) may park in this area.

Hawley Purple

During the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, this parking lot is available for those with a valid and properly displayed University at Albany Faculty/Staff, Special Permit, Special Medical Permit, or Handicapped decal or hang tag. Please note that there are handicapped spaces (requiring a valid and properly displayed University at Albany handicapped decal or hang tag) and a number of other reserved spaces. During weekends and outside the hours mentioned above, anyone with a valid and properly displayed University at Albany decal or hang tag may park in any space that is not handicapped or reserved. Note that there are several reserved spaces in this lot. Overnight parking is not allowed in this lot.

Sayles Gold

This parking area is within Alumni Quad. The lot is RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS ONLY. This lot is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to anyone with a valid and properly displayed University at Albany STUDENT decal or hang tag. Those with faculty/staff decals or hang tags who park in this area are subject to ticketing.

State Street Faculty/Staff

Faculty/Staff 8am to 7pm
This parking area is available to anyone with a valid and properly displayed University at Albany Faculty/Staff, Special Permit, Medical Permit, or Handicapped decal or hang tag 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Those with a valid Gold (Student) decal or hang tag may park in this lot from 7 PM to 8 AM Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. This restriction is in place 365 days a year, including legal holidays and days when classes are not in session.

State Street Gold

This parking area is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to anyone with a valid and properly displayed University at Albany decal or hang tag.

Thurlow Terrace

The Thurlow Terrace lot is located on Western Avenue across from the Downtown Campus. This lot is available for anyone with a valid and properly displayed University at Albany decal or hang tag. A valid and properly displayed University at Albany handicapped decal or hang tag is required for any handicapped spaces in this lot. Overnight parking is not allowed in this lot.
